About me

Art is a journey, not a destination—just like life itself. There are no rules in creativity, only the freedom to explore, express, and evolve. As Bob Ross famously said, the process is full of “happy accidents,” and I embrace every stroke, every line, and every unexpected twist as part of my artistic growth.
My love for art has always been present, but life’s responsibilities took priority. It wasn’t until the world slowed down during the COVID-19 pandemic that I truly reconnected with my passion. I began with acrylic painting, captivated by its vibrant textures and depth. However, as space became limited, I turned to pen and ink, a medium that allows me to create anytime, anywhere. The intricate details, the interplay of light and shadow, and the storytelling potential of ink captivated me in ways I never expected.
As a self-taught artist, I specialize in whimsical, imaginative compositions that often reflect curiosity and storytelling. My work is inspired by the question, “What if?”—a theme that guides me to explore surreal, dreamlike worlds, nature-inspired designs, and expressive characters. I strive to create art that invites viewers into a space of wonder and creativity.
Beyond my personal artistic practice, I love sharing the joy of creation with others. I volunteer at my local library, teaching children to draw and encouraging them to embrace their own artistic journeys. Crafting is my another passion, and I enjoy experimenting with different materials and mixed media techniques.
While my academic background is in engineering, and I currently work as an actuarial analyst, I find that both math and art share a deep connection. Patterns, structures, and problem-solving exist in both worlds, and I love balancing the logic of numbers with the fluidity of creativity. My artistic journey continues to evolve, and I look forward to exploring new techniques, pushing creative boundaries, and inspiring others to embrace art in their own way.
